Yacht Engineering & Production Support
Marin Prime provided design and production engineering support to the Arkin Pruva Yachts Shipyard across a range of exterior outfitting, mechanical arrangement and production-detailing activities.
The scope of work focused on developing practical engineering solutions and production-ready documentation in coordination with the vessel’s existing design, technical requirements and shipyard production processes.
From system arrangements and outfitting plans to detailed construction drawings and production-oriented 3D visualization, the work was developed with particular attention to constructability, integration, dimensional accuracy and production requirements.
Scope of Work
Garage Door / Transom Door Arrangement
Development of the garage and transom door arrangements, including geometric definition, installation interfaces and integration with adjacent structural and outfitting elements.
Exterior Railings – Plan & Nesting
Development of exterior railing arrangements and production documentation, including railing geometry, installation details and nesting preparation for fabrication.
Rudder Construction & Shaft Details
Preparation and development of construction details related to the rudder and shaft arrangement, with consideration given to component integration, structural interfaces and production requirements.
Steering System Arrangement
Development of the steering system arrangement and associated installation details to support the integration of steering equipment within the available structural and machinery spaces.
Escape Plan
Preparation of the vessel’s escape plan, presenting designated escape routes, emergency exits and relevant access arrangements in accordance with the applicable project requirements.
Hatch & Door Plan
Development of hatch and door plans covering their locations, types and integration with the surrounding structure and outfitting.
Scupper System – Outfitting Plan
Preparation of the scupper system outfitting arrangement, including drainage locations, routing and associated installation details required for production.
Freeing Port Plan
Preparation of freeing port arrangements and related production information considering deck drainage requirements and integration with the exterior structure.
Exterior Visualization for Production
Preparation of exterior rendering images and visual references to support production activities, providing a clearer representation of exterior components, arrangements and design details during construction.
