12m Workboat – Detailed Production Engineering Support
Project Overview
In collaboration with Yacht Fix, Marin Prime provided detailed production engineering and drawing support for a 12 meter workboat developed for a company specialising in professional workboat applications.
The scope focused on the preparation of selected production support packages, assembly arrangements and fabrication drawings, translating the project design into clear and practical documentation for shipyard production.
Particular attention was given to equipment integration, fabrication requirements, assembly interfaces and production-oriented detailing.
Scope of Work
MOB Davit Mounting & Assembly Arrangement
Preparation of the mounting and assembly arrangement for the MOB davit, including equipment positioning, supporting interfaces and installation details required for production.
Exterior Railings Plan
Development of the exterior railing plan and associated production details, considering railing geometry, installation interfaces and fabrication requirements.
Seat Box Assembly Layout & Nesting
Preparation of the seat box assembly layout together with production-oriented nesting documentation to support fabrication and material utilisation.
Mast Arrangement
Development of the mast arrangement, including component positioning, assembly configuration and integration with the surrounding structure and equipment.
Production-Oriented Engineering
The engineering package was developed with a focus on constructability, clear production documentation and practical shipyard implementation. Selected arrangements and fabrication details were prepared to support the transition from design information to workshop production and onboard installation.
